Book by: Gordon Korman
Book Length: 240 pages

Story Summary: This book is about a boy named Cameron Boxer, and he is a slacker. Except for going to school, the only thing he does is video games. Cameron’s parents are really mad at Cameron and want him to get involved in a school activity, or he doesn’t get to do Rule the World, which is a video game tournament. He decides to start a club. This club was supposed to be fake until people signed up for it. Now Cameron actually has to something. Would you like this book?

Your Review: This book was pretty good. I liked a lot of things in it. Some things that I liked were that the book kept on having plot twists. Another thing I liked about this book was that it keeps you reading. Also, I liked this book because it didn’t take a long time to read. My favorite character was Cameron, because he learns how to step out of his box. He also is really funny. I don’t think this book would make a good movie, even though it was really good. If you like funny books that are fiction, this would be a really good book for you. I recommend this book if you are trying to make your reading goal, or just need something to read. You should read it for your next book choice!

Book by: Gordan Korman
Book Length: 230 pages

Story Summary: Two boys, Griffin and Ben, are two young schoolboys who like to solve mysteries. Their lives are going pretty normal until their friend, Savanna’s pet monkey, Cleopatra, goes missing. When they go on a field trip to a zoo on a boat, Savanna finds Cleo as one of the animals! She tries to convince the tour guide that the monkey is hers, but he didn’t believe her! Ben, Griffin, Savanna, and a Doberman named Luthor do whatever they can to break into the zoo and get Cleo back.

Your Review: I like this book, but it doesn’t really fit it’s genre. They find the monkey right away, but the book is more about planning the zoobreak, and and what happens along the way. It is also a pretty slow going book and it is easy to get bored with. It is fun at the beginning, boring in the middle, and a little exciting at the end. Other than that, i guess it is a pretty good book. The concept is great, and the lessons it teaches is also good.

Harry goes to Hogwarts and learns how to be a wizard but he has many stops trough the way read the book and find out.

Your Review: I like the book because all of the magic.I didn’t like the stops and how long it took for them to do something. Harry should be the star and this would be a good book because lots of people like magic. Most some older kids would like it better.I would recommend it because I like magic and many others. My peers should read this because its a very good book.

Red Queen

Book by: Victoria Aveyard
Book Length: 1-6 pages

Story Summary: The story is really good because it starts off as this girl who’s telling the story and She’s telling about first Friday and how it is really crowded through out her village and how she hates first Friday and how in the heat if summers, that’s the last thing anyone wants. Then, She gets into deeper details on how there’s a arena and the silvers fight against the reds. But the book is really really good and detailed.

Your Review: the book is really good and i would recommend it to a lot if people in middle school and up but its a book that is really detailed and you could have a view of whats going on right there so hope you like it when you do read it. And keep in your head what you learned about this book on this website when you read it.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Book Review by: Cooper S.

Book by: JK Rowling
Book Length: 320 pages

Story Summary: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child happens 19 years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This book is more about Harry’s son than Harry. This book is actually the script for the play instead of a book. In this story, Harry’s child, who is named after 2 headmasters of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He quickly becomes friends with someone his father doesn’t like. So, everything is cool, until Harry decides to put his son in another house. This starts an adventure through time.

Your Review: I think that this book is good, but can be better. I think that the plot is good, and the author adds in a side character that didn’t really have a huge impact in the earlier books and gives her a line. I didn’t really think that was a good idea, because it just adds an extra character that doesn’t even really do anything. My favorite character was actually Harry’s son. I just think he is cool, and he wants to change something he doesn’t think is fair. I think this book would actually be a good movie, because it is literally a script. I think that people that like fantasy would like to read this, because it has magic and spells and lots of things that can’t happen in real life. I would recommend this to everyone, and I would rate it 3/5 stars. I think that my classmates should read it, because a lot of them like fantasy.
